Toples Tropis - The government will open the CPNS (Civil Servant Candidate) recruitment for the year 2023 with a total of 1,030,751 positions. Out of this total, only 20 percent are allocated for fresh graduates or new graduates.
This was announced by the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB), Tjahjo Kumolo, during a Working Meeting with the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission II in Jakarta on Thursday (June 23, 2022).
Tjahjo stated that the government has conducted various evaluations of the CPNS recruitment process in previous years. The results of these evaluations indicated that the majority of participants who passed the selection were new graduates.
"We want to provide a broader opportunity for honorary employees who have served for decades to become civil servants," said Tjahjo.
Tjahjo added that the government will also open PPPK (Government Employee with Employment Agreement) recruitment to accommodate honorary workers who did not pass the CPNS selection.
"We will open 1.1 million PPPK positions," Tjahjo said.
The CPNS and PPPK recruitment for the year 2023 will be conducted online. Registration will begin in September 2022.
For new graduates who wish to participate in the 2023 CPNS selection, Tjahjo advised them to prepare themselves as best as possible.
"New graduates should prepare themselves well, both academically and non-academically," Tjahjo said.
Tjahjo also added that new graduates must have high motivation to become civil servants.
"High motivation will be the main asset for you to succeed in the CPNS selection," Tjahjo said.
Tjahjo hopes that the CPNS and PPPK recruitment for the year 2023 will result in qualified and competent human resources to serve the public.
